If this is your first time using the usfans Spreadsheet, this is the only guide you need to feel confident placing an order. You’ll end with a clear mental model of how the directory is organized, how to filter it, how to confirm a product on the seller page, and how to avoid the two or three common mistakes most new buyers make.
Step 1 — Open the right page
You don’t need to open the full sheet. In fact, you probably shouldn’t. Jump directly to the category you’re shopping: Shoes, Hoodies/Sweaters, T-Shirts, Jackets, Pants/Shorts, Headwear, Accessories, or Other Stuff. Each category page is faster, filterable, and keeps its own state.
Step 2 — Narrow with the filter
Type a brand, silhouette, or specific color into the filter. The page narrows instantly. If nothing matches, loosen the terms — try the model name without the colorway, or the colorway without the brand.
Step 3 — Compare the reference image to the live seller
Click a row and the seller page opens in a new tab. Before anything else, compare the image on the seller page with the reference image inside the usfans Spreadsheet row. They should match: silhouette, color, print placement, hardware. If the live page shows something different, back out and report the row — the seller probably renamed or discontinued the item.
Step 4 — Check the size chart
This is where most first-time buyers lose confidence. Western sizing and Asian sizing can differ by one or even two sizes on apparel. Don’t guess based on what you usually wear. Open the seller’s own size chart and measure one of your existing favorite garments to compare.
Step 5 — Read the buyer notes
Many rows carry notes from previous buyers: “runs big,” “colors slightly brighter in person,” “ask for QC photos before shipping.” A single note is a hint. Multiple consistent notes are a signal — trust them.
Step 6 — Place the order on the seller platform
Checkout always happens on the seller, never on the directory. Add to cart, pick a shipping option, and keep the order number somewhere safe. If you’re buying several items from different sellers, you can place each order independently and consolidate shipping later (if your forwarding agent supports it).
Step 7 — Approve the QC photos
Before anything ships internationally, you’ll usually get a chance to review quality-check photos. Look for three things: shape (does the product look like the reference?), details (logos, prints, hardware correctly placed?), and condition (no missing pieces, no obvious defects). Approve to ship or request a replacement.
Common first-time mistakes to avoid
- Buying the wrong variant. If a row has multiple colors or materials, pick the exact one on the seller page — variants aren’t always visually identical.
- Trusting your usual size. Measure. Twice.
- Ignoring buyer notes. They exist because someone else already made that mistake.
- Buying everything from one seller at once. Spread risk across sellers until you’ve confirmed what’s good.
- Rushing QC. Take the extra minute to zoom into the photos.
How the usfans Spreadsheet keeps rows accurate
Every row has to pass three checks before it goes live: live URL, correct product match, image parity with the reference. Weekly verification repeats the checks and either repairs or removes rows that drift. That doesn’t replace your own verification — it just means your odds are a lot higher when you click out.
What to do after your first order
Three things. Bookmark the category you used. Save a short note about the seller (fast QC? consistent sizing?) so you remember next time. And come back to the usfans Spreadsheet homepage when you’re ready for round two.

Ready to try it?
Open the live sheet and buy one small item from a category you already know well — a plain T-shirt pack is a classic first order. By the time it arrives, you’ll have the full process down and you can start on bigger ticket items with confidence.
